Lori S. Nehrer

Lori S. Nehrer has been practicing law for over 30 years. Her practice focuses on estate planning and administration and adoption law. Throughout her career, Lori has assisted in completing over 1,000 adoptions. She represents birth parents and adoptive parents in all types of adoption and guardianship proceedings.

Lori is an adoptive parent herself. It is her belief that the decisions regarding an adoption plan should be made by the persons whose lives will be touched by the adoption. She understands that each adoption situation is unique.

Located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Lori has worked with agencies, social workers and families in the Northeast Ohio area as well as throughout Ohio and other states. Her knowledge and resources are due in part to her organization memberships which include:

Lori is also featured in the book Adopting in America: How to Adopt Within One Year by Randall B. Hicks which has been described as a nuts-and-bolts to adoption as well as the ultimate how-to adoption book.

PHILOSOPHY

As an adoptive mother, Lori is able to offer personal knowledge and compassion to the adoption process. It is her belief that the decisions regarding an adoption plan should be made by the persons whose lives will be touched by the adoption. Her role, as an attorney practicing in the field of adoption law is to be accessible and to advise her clients about the laws and legal issues in the State of Ohio. Lori’s goal is to assist her clients in creating and achieving the adoption plan of their choice.
